About

1st Pymble Scout Group is located just behind Bannockburn Oval and has been serving our local community since 1954.

Cubs is for boys and girls between the ages of 8-11. Cubs have a lot of fun doing a lot of interesting things! There are games to play, codes and skills to learn, places to see and new friends to meet. Cub Scouts all help each other, and try to help other people too.

img_1923Scouts is one of the best kept secrets for young people aged 11 – 15 and no wonder! It is the biggest youth organisation in Australia with thousands of boys and girls enjoying an almost unlimited range of activities.

Cubs and Scouts learn a wide variety of outdoor skills, and learn how to make decisions and work as part of a team. You’ll go on camps with a few friends or join thousands of boys and girls for fun and adventure at a national Cuboree or Jamboree. Weekly meetings are held to build up skill levels, play games and have fun and plan for weekend adventures.

Providing a fun and diverse scouting program requires the right equipment, and this means raising much needed funds to help buy, maintain and replace camping and cooking gear, canoes, ropes, poles, helmets, craft materials, as well as maintaining our scout hall for use by the local community.
